Southern Florida will remain under winter conditions despite the slight rise in temperature in recent days, as a new cold front is approaching and will cause temperatures to drop again before the weekend.
According to the forecast from Telemundo 51, the front will arrive on Thursday and will cause another drop in the minimum temperatures, which could be around 4°C (40°F) during the early mornings of Friday and Saturday in areas of Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach.
This Tuesday, wind chill temperatures were reported at around -1°C (30°F), and a cold weather advisory remained in effect until nine in the morning in coastal and metropolitan areas of South Florida.
Although the afternoons will be sunny and have milder temperatures, authorities recommend not putting away winter coats just yet, especially in agricultural areas affected by recent frost.
