A video shared on TikTok has touched thousands of users by showcasing the emotional farewell between two young Cubans at the airport. One of them is heading to the United States, while their partner stays behind on the island, specifically in the province of Granma.

"The part that hurts the most: goodbye," reads the text in the video showing the strong embrace between the two young individuals, visibly affected by the separation.

The scene, filmed in front of the international departures area, symbolizes the reality of many Cuban couples who experience the heartbreak of distance due to migration reasons.

The TikTok user @cristianreydedios, who shared the images, accompanied the clip with a message of love and hope, reflecting the feelings of those who must part ways in search of a better future. In the comments, dozens of people expressed their empathy and wished for a swift reunion for the couple.

"I know how hard that moment is, as I've experienced it every time I have to separate from my partner. Blessings, and the time will come when you can be together," wrote a user.

Another person shared their own experience: “I went through that with my partner, and it is very tough. We were separated for a year and seven months, and today we are together, fighting day by day.”

"Well, I wish you all the best and hope you are together soon. When there is love, it's worth going to the ends of the earth. Good luck, and may you be together soon. Blessings," commented another user.

Stories like this are repeated every day in the airports of Cuba, where migration continues to shape the lives of thousands of families and couples. While some depart in search of opportunities, others remain behind, waiting for the reunion.

The video, which has already garnered thousands of views, summarizes in just a few seconds the human cost of migration and the strength of love in times of separation.
