A young Cuban woman has captured the attention of thousands of users on TikTok by sharing her long-distance love story with a man who lives in the United States. She recounted that they have been in a relationship for two years without ever having met in person.
"I live in Cuba, my boyfriend lives in the United States, and we have been in a long-distance relationship for two years without ever sharing a single kiss," the young woman, identified online as @briana5254, began.
In his video, he explained that they knew each other by sight from Cuba, but had never been in contact. It all started when he wrote to her on Messenger to ask if her account had been hacked, as he saw two profiles with the same photos.
Weeks later, the young man messaged her again on WhatsApp. "I immediately thought: this guy wants something," the Cuban woman said with a laugh. Despite her initial mistrust, she decided to reply, and they began to talk frequently until he proposed to be her boyfriend.
"I told him no way, because I didn't believe in long-distance relationships, and besides, I wasn't attracted to him," she confessed. However, over time, the conversations became frequent and the emotional connection began to grow.
In one of her most curious anecdotes, she recounted how the boy wanted to make a video call and she agreed, although she didn’t expect much. "I can't explain the disappointment I felt," she said with a laugh, without providing further details, sparking hundreds of comments from users intrigued by her story.
The video, which has already amassed thousands of views and comments, has sparked all kinds of reactions. Some praised the young woman's sincerity and humor, while others questioned the sustainability of a relationship like that without physical contact after such a long time.
"The important thing is that they love and trust each other," commented one user, while another joked, "That's not love, that's stable Wi-Fi."
The story continues to gain views and proves once again that social media can be a stage for both unlikely romances and sincere confessions of the Cuban heart.
