The Cuban youtuber Frank Camallerys showcased in a new TikTok video the final result of the renovation of his home in Madrid, a project that, as he explained, spanned ten months.
“Finally, we have reached the end of this project that took more than 10 months… Between the renovations and all the setbacks that arose, it felt endless, but here is the final result,” wrote the content creator in the description of the video posted on his TikTok account.
During the tour, Camallerys showcased every corner of the home and explained that the house was "completely destroyed" when they purchased it. "We have finally finished the renovation, and I can show it to you," she remarked at the beginning of the tour.
The video, just over two minutes long, begins with the main entrance and continues through the bathroom, kitchen, living room, and bedrooms. The creator highlighted several design details and space optimization features: “The shower panels are floor-to-ceiling and are recessed just above,” he said, adding that the bathroom furniture was custom-made “with a mirror that reaches all the way to the top.”
He also showcased the kitchen, where they installed a central island and mirrors to create a sense of spaciousness. “The feeling of openness in the kitchen with these mirrors in front gives you a sense of much more space,” he explained, adding that he found the lamp and a decorative painting on Wallapop.
Camallerys pointed out that the reform included a complete redesign of the spaces: "This room here was originally the house's kitchen, and we made a lot out of it. Well, it’s still a small room, but we really maximized the space."
The tour continued through the main hall, where he showcased an electric fireplace, a designer table, and indirect lighting in the ceiling. “By the way, what do you think of the LED strip and the entire ceiling lighting setup?” he remarked.
In the main room, he explained that they kept the original lamp and made the headboard for the bed themselves. "Since we work from home, we created that area for a desk which is really well utilized. I mean, you can sit here to work and feel like royalty," he recounted.
The house also features a terrace connected to the living room and the main bedroom. “It has this little armchair right outside the bedroom and this small table with a bench, where you can comfortably eat, and it opens up to the living room,” she added.
At the end of the tour, he expressed his satisfaction with the project's outcome: “After so much time and effort, the result is finished, and personally, I love it.”
The video, published less than a day ago, has garnered hundreds of supportive comments and congratulations. Many users highlighted the design of the home and the creator's effort, while others proudly emphasized their Cuban heritage. "I see Cubans succeeding, and the pride is off the charts," wrote a follower, while another commented, "Their new home turned out beautiful."
The post adds to the previous updates from Camallerys about the renovation, which he had shared with his followers since the early months of the process, when it was still under construction. Last December, the youtuber shared the initial progress of the house, explaining that the process had been long, complex, and costly, but also one of the most exciting experiences of his life.
