The youth from El4tico, repressed by the Cuban regime, have already explained in one of their videos the "moral dissonance" with which they attempt to justify the harm they cause by citing the rationale of the common good.

"It is precisely how institutional cynicism is built, not because they do not know they are causing harm, but because they can no longer accept the truth," they say in one of their prescient videos.

The young people involved in the project El 4tico were arrested on Friday in Holguín during an operation conducted between six and seven in the morning, according to reported by the platform Ciudadanía y Libertad on the social network X.

The organization identified the arrested individuals as Ernesto Ricardo Medina and Kamil Zayas Pérez, who —according to that report— were transferred to the Criminal Instruction headquarters of the province, known as “Everyone Tells.”

Citizenship and Freedom described that center as a place with “repeated reports” of torture, violent interrogations, and degrading treatment, referring to it as “the Villa Marista of Holguín.”

During the operation, according to the same report, agents took away computers, phones, cameras, and equipment that the young people were using to "record and document their work."
