The Cuban actor and comedian Andy Vázquez shared a video on TikTok where he reacted with surprise to the price of fuel in Florida after stopping at a gas station while out with his daughters.
In the video posted on his official social media account, the artist humorously comments that he had always been happy with his diesel car because the fuel lasted longer.
"People used to tell me, ‘Nandi, your car runs on oil, how great oil is, it goes further,’ and I was so happy with my little car," the actor recounts in the video.
However, her enthusiasm changed when she approached the price sign at a gas station that, as she explained, usually has one of the cheapest fuels in the area.
"This is the gas station that always has the cheapest prices… 3.30, 3.20," he remarks while showing the sign. He then adds, surprised, "Look at how much oil is today! 4.39."
The comedian joked that he nearly had "a heart attack" upon seeing the price and continued to comment humorously on the rise in fuel costs.
"I don't even want to see the others; they must already be at five pesos," she said, laughing while recording the video.
Andy Vázquez, known for his character Facundo Correcto on the Cuban comedy show Vivir del cuento, often shares moments from his everyday life in the United States on social media, as well as humorous comments about daily situations.
The clip generated reactions among its followers, many of whom responded with humorous comments and opinions about fuel prices.
