The Cuban reggaeton artist L Kimii surprised his followers by revealing that he also underwent one of the aesthetic surgeries that has garnered much attention among Cuban artists in Miami: eye color change.
Through a video posted on TikTok, the singer appeared lying down, showcasing the result of the procedure, and explained that he decided to do it without announcing it beforehand.
“Well family, I didn't want to say anything, but I changed the color of my eyes. I woke up like this”, she commented in the clip while showing her new look up close.
According to what he said, the recovery has been quite manageable. "It just burns a little, but it doesn't bother me at all," he assured.
The artist also explained that he wasn't looking for a tone that was too light, but rather something darker. “I made it dark, neither light nor anything. My father has eyes like that; his dark ones almost look blue, so I made mine like that, a blue between black,” he detailed.
With this procedure, L Kimii joins other Cuban artists who in recent months have decided to change the color of their eyes, including Osmani García, La Diosa, and El Micha, a fashion trend that has sparked quite a debate on social media.
As expected, the video quickly filled with comments. Some followers praised the outcome with messages like “I love it” or “The dark-skinned guy with light eyes.” Others, however, reacted with humor or surprise: “I think you got ripped off,” “A dark guy with blue eyes, I’m dead,” or “How much does that cost?” were some of the most repeated responses.
Beyond the jokes and divided opinions, the fact is that the artist's new look is already a hot topic among his fans.
