Niurka Marcos sparked controversy once again by reacting to the comments made by her ex-partner, the Cuban singer Eduardo Antonio —known as “El Divo de Placetas”— regarding their relationship in La Casa de los Famosos, the reality show in which she is currently participating.
During the program, the artist has spoken several times about his past with the Cuban vedette and has stated that they were together for about two years, additionally describing her as an organized woman and a very good companion off-camera.
However, Niurka denied that version during a recent meeting with the press. “We did not get married. Our relationship only lasted a few months. It is not true that it lasted two years; that is a big lie that she said,” affirmed the Cuban actress.
The star also made very direct comments about her ex's love life. “Obviously, I knew he was bisexual, but he loves rich older women. He has always had wealthy older lovers.” She stated, “He is the kind of person who always needs to be living in a mansion; that's why he had wealthy older women.”
With her characteristic provocative tone, Niurka also shared one of the phrases that has circulated the most on social media: "Eduardo Antonio hangs on even to the target he doesn't even know where it comes from. He thinks he's Tarzan, but he's Jane."
Nonetheless, the performer ended with a more conciliatory message for her ex-partner and wished him luck in the reality show. “I wish him all the best, to last as long as he can, and if he wins, that’s great, because that’s the goal of the project, to enter and be part of the gossip.” she concluded.
