The Cuban reggaeton artist Chacal surprised several women on the street with a special gesture for International Women's Day while recording a preview of his upcoming single titled "Sonríe Mujer."
As part of the promotional video for the song, the artist took to the street to give away roses and handwritten notes to several women, whom he wanted to acknowledge for their daily efforts and their role within the family.
"On this March 8th, International Women's Day, I gift you a song filled with emotion: 'Smile Woman.' For the warriors who strive every day to support their families," the singer stated in the video posted on social media.
During the recording, Chacal explained that the project seeks to pay tribute to women with a simple gesture, but one that is filled with meaning.
“Hello, gentlemen. Chacal here, and we are recording what will be a video dedicated to all those ladies, to all those warriors, to all those mothers, to all those princesses, and to all those undefeated, as I like to call them,” commented the Cuban artist.
As he explained, the idea was to capture small details that have been lost over time in everyday life.
"'Sonríe Mujer' will be a very simple gesture that may have faded a bit over time, but we are always working to revive something very important for our community," he added.
The video showcases the surprise and excitement of several women who received flowers and written messages from the singer, as part of this preview of his upcoming musical release dedicated to women.
