Two Cuban residents in Miami celebrated their first wedding anniversary by sharing an emotional video on TikTok featuring images from their wedding, which took place on March 8 of last year, a date they now cherish fondly.

The clip, posted on the account @lay20683, features various moments from that day: from the ceremony and the exchange of rings to the kiss that sealed the union in front of family and friends.

In the video, the brides can be seen showcasing their wedding outfits: one in a white lace dress with an updo, and the other in a white shirt, black vest, and suspenders, as they celebrate surrounded by floral decorations and an elegant multi-tiered cake.

The message on the images reads: “March 8, the day we got married. Cosi and I are celebrating 1 year of marriage today,” reminding them of the date they officially began their life together.

The video has sparked numerous reactions on TikTok, where many users have congratulated the couple and sent them messages of affection and good wishes for their anniversary.

Amid congratulatory messages, several followers celebrated the love story of the Cuban women and highlighted the joy conveyed by the images of the event, characterized by emotion and a festive atmosphere.

The first wedding anniversary, traditionally known as the paper anniversary, is usually a special occasion for couples, who take the opportunity to reminisce about the beginning of their marriage and celebrate the journey they have traveled together.

In this case, the Cuban couple decided to relive that moment by sharing with their followers some of the most significant memories of their wedding, a gesture that quickly resonated with the online community.
