The Spanish singer Bad Gyal once again demonstrated her connection to Cuban culture during an interview on the show hosted by Enrique Santos, where she candidly discussed her relationship with the island, its people, and even an old romance with a Cuban.

Amid laughter, the artist shared that she dated a Cuban for a while, although the story didn't end well. “Unfortunately, I did date a Cuban for a little while. He deceived me,” she confessed, making it clear that the relationship ended due to infidelity.

According to what she explained, the betrayal occurred just before one of her trips to Miami. “In fact, he cheated on me the night before I came here last time, while I was singing with Karol,” she recounted. Although she found out later, she says that from the very beginning she had a feeling that something was wrong.

Despite that experience, Bad Gyal assures that she holds no grudges and that the situation helped her focus more on herself. “I don't give it much importance; you learn from everything. Since then, I've focused a lot on myself and I'm very happy being single,” she commented.

The artist also wanted to make it clear that her personal story does not change her affection for Cuban culture. In fact, she stated that her connection to the island has existed long before, especially due to music. “Before I met him, I was already a big fan of the cast. Everyone knows that I love it,” she said.

Bad Gyal also spoke about the Cuban music she currently listens to and mentioned that she is very hooked on the song “Dichavate.” Additionally, she recalled that she has been following the Cuban reggaeton artist Oniel Bebeshito for years. She shared that they even happened to meet by chance at the Miami airport. “I started listening to Bebeshito four or five years ago, when he wasn’t famous yet. Recently, we happened to be in line at the Miami airport and met there. Congratulations to him on his successes from here,” she said.
