The images capture the moment when the man exits the airport and is warmly greeted by several family members, who embrace him effusively. However, what has drawn the most attention is not the reunion itself, but the protagonist's demeanor, which shows little emotion as he holds a conspicuous bundle of cash in his hand.
In the video, which has been widely shared on TikTok, the man responds to the hugs somewhat unimpressed as he looks around, leading to negative interpretations among internet users.
"His arrogance is something else," commented a user. Others were even more critical: "Damn, he didn't even look at the family; he was just focused on who was watching him."
Some comments also mocked his appearance and demeanor: “There was no more gold in the store,” while others questioned the apparent lack of emotion at a moment that is usually deeply emotional for Cuban families separated by emigration.
