Ya Ice Dilan, regarded as one of the most promising representatives of the Cuban music scene, stated in an interview with Harvyn TV that his ex-partner does not allow him to see his son. The remarks were made while the singer is in Spain as part of a European tour.
The artist did not hide the pain that the situation causes him and was direct when addressing the issue: "I would like to see the child, who has nothing to do with what we have been through.", he said, referring to the baby born in February of this year.
The interpreter acknowledged that he may have made mistakes in the relationship, but insisted that he was loyal and devoted to his ex-partner. "Maybe I did something extremely wrong, maybe I hurt her, maybe I was bad at some point, but babe, I was unconditional. I was the best in every way," he stated.
His only request, in his own words, is to be allowed to approach the child, whom he described as uninvolved in the conflicts of the relationship: "All I ask is that you let me come close and see the child who has nothing to do with what we've been through."
Despite professional success during his tour in Europe, the singer did not hide his fatigue and nostalgia: "I miss my island, brother. I miss Cuba," he confessed, mentioning that he wants to return home after several weeks away.
The personal moment contrasts with the peak of his artistic career. His song "Dichávate", alongside Rey Toni, Helabusador, and DJ Honda, has become an international viral phenomenon. The track has received support from artists like Bad Gyal, who danced to 'Dichávate' live, and Alexander Delgado from Gente de Zona. Additionally, he has the upcoming release of a collaboration with Oniel Bebeshito and plans for a tour in the United States with three stadiums confirmed.
