After several weeks filled with uncertainty following his arrest in the United States, the Cuban reggaeton artist El Chulo resurfaced on social media with a message that did not go unnoticed by his followers.

The artist, whose real name is Abel Díaz Rodríguez, shared a video on Instagram where he previews new music and makes it clear that he is focused on moving forward with his career. In the clip, he appears animated as he presents his upcoming track, "La Mamá de Toto," which he announced will be released this Friday.

In the post, he also shared that he is now in Mexico, where he plans to launch this new musical phase. “The fun in Mexico tomorrow at 5:00 PM live from Mexico with my buddies,” the singer wrote.

But what caught the most attention was the phrase that accompanied the announcement, which many interpreted as a direct reference to what recently happened with his immigration situation: “Now to travel the entire world… what they did to me was a favor.”

The comment comes weeks after the reggaeton artist was detained by ICE agents at his home in Homestead, Florida, due to a deportation order against him. After being held in immigration custody for several weeks, he ultimately signed his voluntary departure from the United States.

Now, from Mexico, El Chulo seems determined to turn the page and start anew, betting on music and staying connected with his audience while opening a new chapter in his artistic career.
