The iconic Canadian singer Céline Dion announced her much-anticipated return to the stage during an emotional message shared with her followers in celebration of her 58th birthday, which took place on March 30.
The Canadian artist confirmed that she will perform live again in September 2026, marking her return after almost two years without performances, since her last show in 2024.
In a video published on YouTube, Dion began in a friendly tone: “Throughout my career, I have recorded many birthday messages, but this is the first time I am recording one for my own.”
During the message, the interpreter expressed gratitude for the support and prayers received since revealing in 2022 that she suffers from Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare autoimmune neurological disorder.
"I wanted to let you know that I am doing well, taking care of my health. I feel good, I am singing again, even dancing a little, because I love it," he expressed.
Dion will perform for 10 nights at the Paris La Défense Arena, from September 17 to October 14. The presale for tickets will begin on April 7.
"I feel strong, excited... yes, a little nervous, but above all grateful to all of you," she added.
Her last performance took place in November 2024 during the Elie Saab fashion show in Saudi Arabia.
That same year, she also starred in one of the most memorable moments of the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games when she performed "Hymne à l’amour" by Édith Piaf from the Eiffel Tower, marking her first performance after publicly revealing her illness.
Additionally, in 2024, she released the documentary I Am: Céline Dion, in which she shares her personal battle with this condition.
