The Puerto Rican music producer Raphy Pina is once again at the center of media attention following news of a lawsuit against him concerning an alleged incident that took place aboard his luxury yacht, known as “Pinarazzi.”
Pina, a key figure in urban music and partner of the Dominican singer Natti Natasha, is facing this new legal episode that was disclosed this Wednesday. After completing his federal sentence for illegal possession of firearms and resuming his activities, his name has continued to be associated with headlines, including his recent media presence in the dispute between Mireddys González and Daddy Yankee.
According to documents presented in a federal court, a woman identified as Sahily Yaitza Jorge Aguayo is seeking compensation of 1 million dollars for injuries sustained during an incident that she claims resulted in the amputation of part of one of her fingers.
According to the complaint, the events took place on April 8, 2025, while the vessel was maneuvering to dock at the Marina Puerto del Rey in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. At that moment, a side hatch allegedly closed suddenly, trapping the middle finger of the plaintiff's right hand.
The legal action directly implicates the yacht's captain, accusing him of not stopping the maneuver despite the seriousness of the situation. According to the account, the vessel continued operating for several minutes without requesting immediate medical assistance or activating emergency protocols.
The plaintiff's attorneys argue that the lack of timely response exacerbated the injury, which later required surgical intervention and resulted in an amputation. The lawsuit also includes the insurer associated with the vessel.
The case adds a new chapter to the recent trajectory of the producer, whose life—marked by musical successes, his relationship with Natti Natasha, and his legal battles—continues to draw attention both inside and outside the entertainment industry.
