Dany Ome confirmed this Tuesday, from a recording studio, that he and his partner Kevincito El 13 have two collaborative songs recorded with the Puerto Rican Ozuna, a significant international milestone for the Cuban genre.
The announcement came through an Instagram post where Dany Ome shared photos with Kevincito El 13 and Ozuna, posing among studio monitors and blue LED lights, with a message that was as direct as it was challenging: "THE TOUGHEST CREW IN CUBA". The artist also posed two challenging questions to his followers: "Who established the commercial crew? Who is going to make it international?"
In his Instagram stories, the artist from Santa Clara expanded on the message with an emotional and grateful tone: "First, I want to thank God, second Ozuna, and my entire team who have never wavered through the tough times and the good times, and to you all, to whom I owe everything. Mark down the 2 distribution songs that will be global with God's favor, there's no doubt about it, I love you."
Dany Ome also urged his followers to mobilize to give international visibility to the movement: "Post all the photos in your stories, let's make the world know that we are in this situation, let's make it international." In another story, he added: "Family, yesterday was a unique day for all Cubans who love the music that came from the street, the music that many once worked for and defended, and today what we have dreamed of for so many years is finally coming true."
The fans' reaction was immediate and explosive. Comments flooded the post with messages of support, demonstrating the enormous following that the duo has amassed, especially since they released El Gordo, one of their most successful songs, in October 2025, and more recently they launched the EP LBMA with Bebeshito in February 2026, in tribute to the late El Taiger.
The collaboration with Ozuna is not the first time the Puerto Rican reggaeton artist has approached the Cuban music scene. Previously, El Micha revealed that the Puerto Rican singer had recorded a collaboration with him, although the song was never released. Years later, El Taiger met with Ozuna in Rome, but no release materialized, leaving the fans of the collaboration empty-handed.
Ozuna's track record supports the expectations generated by this collaboration. The Puerto Rican artist, whose album Odisea reached number one on Billboard's Latin albums chart, is one of the most listened-to Latin artists globally, with billions of streams on digital platforms. A collaboration of this caliber could represent the definitive push for the Cuban cast to cross borders on a large scale.
