Velito El Bufón has just released the official music video for "Cuidámela", his new collaboration with Dany Ome and Kevincito El 13, and social media wasted no time in coming to the same conclusion: that song has a name and surname, and that name is Thalía.

The video, released last Friday under the label Páfata Music, starts with a line that says it all from the very first verse: "Last night I talked to the moon about you… and it already knew what I was going to hear back." From there, the lyrics navigate through nostalgia, regret, and acceptance, featuring a chorus that has become the center of debate: "Bro, take care of her… and give her more than I did. She likes to be loved and hugged throughout the whole night."

The song also includes a recognition that his followers have not overlooked: I know I hurt you by swimming with other fish… but I wish you happiness, because you deserve it in the end."

The comments on YouTube leave little room for interpretation. "For Thalía," one user wrote. "That song has a name and surname," noted another. "She will always be the star of all Velito's hits," summed up a third. Several users admitted they had expected Thalía to appear in the music video itself: "I thought Thalía was going to appear," "Waiting for Thalía's video with this great track."

Some go further and interpret it as a genuine gesture from a man who hasn't closed that chapter yet. But others suspect that the controversy is more about strategy than sentiment: "I don't believe Velito will harm Thalía... this is just to create controversy and make the hit even bigger," wrote one user. What no one disputes is the outcome: "Anything for Thalía is bound to be a hit," asserted another comment.

The release comes at a very intense personal moment. Thalía confirmed the breakup on February 20 through her Instagram stories, just days after giving birth to Thiago, the couple's second child. "Velito and I ended things a few months ago. He decided to live his life, and I decided to live mine," she wrote, asking for respect and adding: "His well-being is the well-being of my children, so I will never wish him ill."

Since then, Velito has consistently kept his ex at the center of his public discourse. On March 2, he posted "You will always be the most important woman in my life". On March 23, he released a preview of this same song that ignited social media. And on March 31, from the stage of a concert, he told her directly: "Your lifestyle, you are living like a queen, I gave that to you. And you will continue to have it until the day I die".

Velito himself described the spirit of the new release with a phrase in the video description: "Making beautiful songs like in the old days, we're back." His fans seem to have received it exactly this way, celebrating the return of a more sentimental Velito. If the muse remains Thalía, at least for now, the formula continues to work.
