Karol G confessed on the American podcast Call Her Daddy, hosted by Alex Cooper, that she discovered the infidelity of an ex-boyfriend thanks to real-time GPS location sharing.
The Colombian singer recounted that the man assured her he was at home while technology revealed a very different reality. "He told me he was at home when he was really on another continent," she said without revealing the name of the person involved.
When describing the moment of discovery, Karol G was even more graphic: "The location... And a location of kilometers and oceans".
The revelation left no doubt about her reaction. The artist, whose real name is Carolina Giraldo Navarro, does not believe in second chances when trust is broken in that manner.
"No and no. A 'no' is just that: it's a stop. That's a 'Next, please,'" he stated firmly when discussing his stance on infidelity.
The first part of the interview was published on April 11, a day before her historic performance as the first Latina artist to headline the Coachella festival in its 27-year history, a milestone she acknowledged from the stage: "It has been celebrated for 27 years, and this is the first time a Latina girl headlines the lineup."
The revelation immediately sparked a wave of speculation on social media. Fans of the singer are debating whether the main character in the story is Anuel AA —with whom she had a public relationship from 2018 to 2021— or Feid, with whom she confirmed her breakup in January 2026 after nearly three years together. Karol G has not confirmed either of the two theories.
In the same talk, the artist also spoke about love and her preferences. She confessed with laughter that she tends to be attracted to a certain type: "I like a bit of the bad boy, you know? I need to change that," she said, adding that her ideal type is the guy who seems like he's from the neighborhood and is laid-back.
Regarding her perfect date, she made it clear that luxuries are not her thing: "For me, the best date is being taken to eat hot dogs and fries at a street vendor, where I feel like I'm part of the neighborhood. I love that."
The second part of the interview on Call Her Daddy premieres this Saturday, April 18, and will feature Karol G moments before stepping onto the main stage at Coachella for her historic performance.
