A Cuban soldier identified as Lea Nieves posted a fun video on Instagram in which she wonders if her colleagues from the United States Army will guess her Cuban origins while she prepares a "café cortadito."

The reel, published on April 12, lasts only 16 seconds and has the description Will they notice?.

The young woman is shown preparing an Italian coffee maker and whisking sugar with milk, as is typically done on the island to achieve the rich foam that characterizes Cuban coffee.

It's not the first time a Cuban military member has caught attention on social media. Some time ago, another Cuban from the Army went viral for bringing Cuban coffee to the kitchen of the barracks, sparking the curiosity of her colleagues.

Also, a Cuban soldier went viral explaining how the U.S. Army soldiers eat, generating thousands of reactions among her followers.

Similarly, a Cuban sergeant known on social media as @ssg_reynaldo_mastrapa went viral while explaining the implications of traveling to Cuba as an active member of the United States Armed Forces.

The presence of Cubans in the United States Army has generated numerous stories of pride and identity.

An example of this is the testimony of a chief petty officer in the Navy in Miami, who declared: I am proud of her position.
