After 8 months away from Cuba, this is what I miss most about the island: "I need it."

A young Cuban residing in Alicante, Spain, confessed in a that the only material thing she misses from the island is the avocados, according to a video posted this past Monday after eight months away from Cuba.

Alicia Peña, known on TikTok as @soyalicia_03, recorded a 35-second clip in which she compares the avocados available in Spain with those she left behind in Cuba, and asks for help from her followers to find them in her city.

"When I left Cuba eight months ago, I said I wouldn't miss anything from there, just its people, but there's one thing I do miss, and that's avocados."
