Gente de Zona kicked off this Friday with a bang: the Cuban duo released "Se le pasa," the first preview of their upcoming studio album, a burst of tropical rhythms that promises to become the soundtrack of the summer.

The song was released along with its official music video on YouTube and is now available on all digital platforms, just as Alexander Delgado and Randy Malcom celebrate 25 years of musical career.

Musically, "Se le pasa" is a return to the duo's roots. Randy Malcom described it as a fusion of merengue with Afro and the Cuban comparsa, inspired by the Santiago conga.

The song humorously portrays the dynamics of a couple, specifically those situations in which men get into trouble at night and then don't know how to explain themselves. Alexander Delgado explained that "the idea was to reflect, from a funny angle, those situations that men face when they get tangled up at night and then don't know how to justify themselves to their partner."

The official description of the premiere says it all: "What you've been waiting for is here to keep the party going! If they told you you're out, and the couch is all set, don't worry, this plan won't let you down and #SeLePasa."

"Se le pasa" also serves as the introduction to an upcoming album filled with collaborations with artists such as Elena Rose, Mau y Ricky, and Juan Magán, as revealed in an exclusive interview with LOS40.

With six Latin Grammy Awards, twelve Latin Billboard Awards and hits like "Bailando," "La Gozadera," and "Traidora" in their repertoire, Gente de Zona arrives this summer with "Se le pasa" ready to top the charts and get everyone dancing.
