Rosalía received the Woman of the Year award at the Billboard Latin Women in Music on Friday, and although she was unable to attend the gala, she featured in one of the most talked-about moments of the night with a thank you video in which she dedicated the award to her partner, model Loli Bahía.
The Catalan artist was unable to attend the ceremony in person because she is currently engaged in her international Lux Tour, which will take her through 17 countries with 42 scheduled concerts until September 2026.
In the video, Rosalía appeared with a warm and reflective tone: "Hello Billboard, I hope the gala is going great. I'm on tour, which is why it has been impossible for me to be there in person, but thank you so much for this recognition. It is a tremendous honor to receive it. I wouldn't be who I am if it weren't for all the women I have read about, listened to, and met. So I would like to continue being open to the world and keep learning from those I love."
The moment that ignited social media came when the singer mentioned Loli Bahía while dedicating the award to her, representing one of her most direct public references to her new relationship in such a significant setting.
Loli Bahía is a 23-year-old French model born in Lyon, the daughter of a Spanish father and an Algerian mother, who made her debut in the fashion industry at the age of 17 and also has musical training: she studied trombone at the Conservatory of Lyon.
The relationship between the two began to come to light in late 2025, when they were photographed together in Paris, and was later confirmed with new images: walking hand in hand in Madrid before the start of the Lux Tour and together in Rio de Janeiro.
In one of her concerts in Paris, Rosalía had already given a clear signal by "To my Loli" from the stage.
The mention in the Billboard Mujeres Latinas sparked a wave of reactions among her followers, ranging from surprise and excitement to support.
At the same gala, other figures of Latin music were honored, such as Julieta Venegas, Ivy Queen, Becky G, Lola Índigo, and Joy Huerta.
The sentimental life of Rosalía has captured the public's attention for years, from her relationship with Rauw Alejandro —with whom she got engaged in 2023— to her romance with actor Jeremy Allen White.
