The Cuban singer L'Kimii was the center of attention this weekend, generating considerable buzz on social media with a passionate speech during his concert that his fans immediately interpreted as a veiled message aimed at his ex-partner, the influencer Samantha Hernández.

The episode during his performance in Louisville, Kentucky. Just before performing his song "Instagram," the reggaeton artist took the microphone and delivered a speech filled with pride that energized the audience present.

"What happens in my life stays in my life. Neither further back nor further forward. It’s in the center. I'd rather be dead than speak poorly of a woman because I come from one, who is my mother," the artist declared as the crowd erupted in cheers and applause.

The tone was firm and unhesitating. "I’m not interested in what they talk about, what they say, what they comment on. I know who I am; I know what I’ve given. I have a heart that doesn’t fit in my chest," he continued, before concluding with a phrase that many took as a final blow: "The only thing I have to prove is the music."

The connection with Samantha was immediate for the followers.

"Besides, don’t lie to yourself, you’re done for with me. Don’t be shy about saying that you’re doing well with the guy. Don’t deceive yourself," he added after starting to sing.

The symbolism of the chosen theme to sing about later did not go unnoticed. "Instagram" was released on August 20, 2025, just as the romance rumors between them began to circulate, and its lyrics speak of romantic obsession and being "caught up in someone's Instagram." It is worth noting that Samantha Hernández was the star of the music video for that song.

The relationship between L'Kimii and Samantha was brief but very public. They confirmed the romance in September 2025 with a kiss at the Watsco Center concert in Miami, and just two months later, on October 25 of that year, Samantha announced the breakup through her Instagram stories without providing further details.

In January 2026, during the premiere of the reality show "El Rancho de Destino," Samantha joked about the brevity of the relationship with an ironic remark: "Women like me have to be alone."

The networks quickly ignited with theories. Some users speculated that the influencer might be dating the singer Químico Ultramix, citing supposed coincidences in travel and references to an episode of "Miguelín's" podcast. Others pointed out that Samantha recently distanced herself from Dany Ome and Kevincito El 13 on Instagram, which further fueled the speculation.

The comments mixed humor and support for the artist. "Well, they said to heat up, and he heated up," wrote one user. Another lamented, "They don't mention or talk about the show that was put on. However, the gossip and controversy, yes. Anyway."

Neither of the two artists has publicly responded to the controversy, leaving everything open to interpretation. What is clear is that the moment in Kentucky, far from going unnoticed, made L'Kimii the center of debate in the Cuban entertainment scene this Monday.
