The Cuban singer La Diosa once again demonstrated her commitment to solidarity by making a donation of 20,000 dollars to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital during a charity gala held in Miami, bringing her total contribution to the institution to 40,000 dollars accumulated.

The artist, whose real name is Dianelys Alfonso Cartaya, attended the red carpet event accompanied by her husband, the music producer Rey El Mago (Reinier Miguelez). The gala brought together major donors and figures from the Hispanic entertainment world in support of the pediatric hospital.

The Goddess shared several moments from the night on her social media. She posed in front of the official St. Jude backdrop in an elegant long silver dress with embroidery and jewels, transparent heels, and red lipstick, and posted a picture alongside Rey El Mago in the event hall.

In her Instagram post, the artist wrote: "Today we are at the St. Jude Gala, all my followers are together with me at this wonderful gala, I love you. Thanks to you, we are among the top donors."

Hours later, well into the early morning, she confirmed the donation with an emotional video: "Today I donated another $20,000. We're up to $40,000 for St. Jude now. I'm so excited." She also revealed that she is preparing a more detailed video about everything she experienced that night at the gala.

This new contribution adds to the $20,000 that La Diosa donated in February, when she fulfilled her promise to donate the entire prize she won on the reality show "El Rancho de Destino" to the same hospital. On that occasion, she stated, "I promised that this money would have a purpose greater than myself."

The bond between La Diosa and St. Jude publicly emerged during her participation in that program, where she promised from the very first day to donate any prize she won to children with cancer. She placed third and received $20,000, which she handed over in a check to the hospital without keeping a single cent.

The reaction from their followers was swift. The announcement video garnered over 33,600 views, 4,026 likes, and 268 comments within a few hours, while the photo from the gala exceeded 1,218 likes. Messages of pride and admiration flooded their posts.

The artist has a long history of supportive gestures towards her community.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, founded in 1962 in Memphis, is the leading institution for pediatric cancer research and treatment in the United States. It has raised the survival rate for pediatric cancer from 20% to over 80%, and patient families never receive bills for treatment, transportation, or lodging.

With $40,000 donated in less than two months, La Diosa is establishing herself as one of the leading Hispanic donors to the hospital, and her words from February resonate more strongly than ever: "You not only supported an artist, you also saved smiles and nurtured lives."
