The Cuban influencer Claudia Artiles announced this Tuesday, through a video posted on TikTok, that she underwent cosmetic surgery to reshape her figure, putting her plans for a new pregnancy on hold after months of back and forth regarding both decisions.
In the video, recorded before entering the operating room, Claudia was straightforward with her followers: "If you're watching this video, it's because I'm currently undergoing surgery, I got my body done or I'm being operated on."
The influencer acknowledged that her stance had changed compared to what she had publicly stated in the past: "I know that many times you heard me say that I didn't want to have surgery, that I wanted to be a mom again, but the reality is different."
She explained that she suffers from a "very severe hormonal imbalance" which, as confirmed by her doctor, currently makes it impossible for her to become pregnant.
That medical reality was the turning point: "I don't want to put my life on hold until that happens," she stated.
The decision was made along with her partner, the Cuban influencer Ultrack, with whom she agreed that this was the right time to proceed with the surgery.
Regarding motherhood, Claudia left the door open without tying herself to a fixed expectation: "In two or three years, I'll try to become a mom again, and if God blesses me, great; if not, then I'll just stay with Marlon."
She was also emphatic that she will not continue to force the process: "I’m not going to keep trying and trying because I feel like it’s hurting me."
The most personal motivation behind the step she took is related to her everyday comfort: "I want to feel good, I want to wear a dress without my belly sticking out, I want to wear a bikini when I go to the beach with Ultrack and feel comfortable."
The announcement this Tuesday concludes a long cycle of delays. In September 2025, Claudia revealed for the first time her plans to undergo surgery before seeking a new pregnancy, and in October she confirmed it with the phrase “This yucca body is going to the operating room soon”.
However, in November 2025, just as the pre-operative tests were being conducted, she discovered a surprise pregnancy with Ultrack which postponed the entire process.
That pregnancy ended in a miscarriage in January 2026, and the doctors diagnosed her with polycystic ovary syndrome, a condition that complicates conception.
