The Cuban content creator Kenny Robert published a reel on Instagram mocking Melanie Santiler following the controversy generated by the singer's arrival at her concert in the Meliá Cohiba hotel in Havana accompanied by a baby swan.
The video, which lasts one minute and 48 seconds, is a direct parody of the gesture by Melanie Santiler, artistically known as "La Mami Fina," who arrived with a swan at her concert in Havana as an artistic statement to introduce her new album.
The singer explained that the animal, which she named Odette, is part of her new creative phase, inspired by the character from the ballet "Swan Lake."
“Odette has a lot to contribute, Odette has inspiration for these new stages, which is why I brought her, to be with her fine mother,” Santiler declared during the event.
The gesture quickly divided followers on social media, with many comments questioning the use of a live animal as if it were an accessory.
Kenny Robert, known for his humorous parodies through his alter ego "Jessica," seized the moment and responded in his usual style, commenting on the most noteworthy episodes of Cuban show business.
Far from focusing on the swan, Jessica first directed all her attention to the young girl's partner: "Today I'm not here to talk about any duck; the duck is me. Who is this girl's husband? Wow, he's quite something! Kiss the duck to see if he turns into me. Girl, you’re stealing."
"Look at her happiness, I mean, with a blonde like that covered in tattoos, laughing all day long," he added, completely forgetting about the swan, which was supposedly the center of the controversy online.
However, after showering the singer's partner with exaggerated compliments, she decided to refer to the animal: "Now I'm heading to Odette. Call Animal Control to take her and the duck away, leave the husband at my house. That duck is tired, girl, what was the purpose of the duck? So late and that duck is still awake."
There were also jokes about the outfit the singer chose for the concert.
Kenny Robert has a history of public confrontations with other Cuban content creators, including Samantha Espineira and Rachel Arderi Arderi, always striking at the wound, and Melanie was not spared from this fate.
Melanie Santiler, 24 years old, burst onto the Cuban music scene in 2023 with an urban style that addresses the reality of the island with humor and irony. Her song “Buen provecho” sparked controversy in Cuba for its lyrics alluding to hunger, with lines like “In Cuba, people are starving, that's why I took your boyfriend,” and it even faced censorship on the island.
The concert at the Meliá Cohiba was precisely the stage chosen by Santiler to announce her new album, which she declares represents the closing of one chapter and the beginning of another in her career.
