The Cuban singer La Diosa (Dianelys Alfonso Cartaya) published a video on Facebook showcasing her visit to the ranch of her godfather Alexander Otaola in Redland/Homestead, Miami-Dade, where she firmly defended the strength of their friendship and sent a direct message to those trying to create distance between them.
"If you are one of those people who thinks they are going to separate us, you are very mistaken, my love," La Diosa stated in the clip lasting just over three minutes, recorded during a breakfast at the host's property.
The singer acknowledged that the relationship is not without its tensions: "It's not that everything is perfect; sometimes I don't agree with him, and sometimes he doesn't agree with me." However, she emphasized that what binds them goes far beyond everyday differences.
"There are too many things that unite us, especially the desire for Cuba to be free," he declared, adding, "How much we have fought, we have struggled, we have instilled in people, we have explained how important it is for them to achieve their freedom."
The Goddess described friendship as something permanent: "We have a friendship that I feel is eternal, and he feels the same way. We will experience all those things for as long as it takes to achieve our goal."
The video arrives months after Otaola criticized La Diosa's participation in the reality show "El Rancho de Destino", describing it as "mediocre" and a "professional downgrade," and sending her a direct message during the recording: "Enjoy yourself, you look very lovely, but it's not contributing to your career."
Despite these frictions, Otaola never publicly broke off the friendship, nor did La Diosa. In July 2025, the singer had already dedicated heartfelt words to Otaola acknowledging his impact in the fight for Cuba, and both shared lawyers in her legal victory against Armando Labrador in October 2025.
During the visit, La Diosa toured the property, fed the animals on the ranch—“I'm the only one who feeds them and takes care of them,” she said—and tried beef tongue for the first time. Otaola's ranch, located in Homestead, covers approximately 4.6 acres and was expanded in December 2025 when the host purchased an adjacent property for over a million dollars.
The singer closed the video with a message to her fans: "Sending a big kiss to our followers whom we love very much. To the people who don't judge us and who know that in the end, we are doing the right thing."
