The Cuban influencer Daniela Reyes surprised her followers by sharing on TikTok the unboxing of her first purchase from the Bvlgari brand: a Serpenti Tubogas watch with a black dial that she is completely in love with.
"This is the first piece I have from Bvlgari. I had never bought anything from Bvlgari and I am extremely happy!" exclaimed the Cuban model based in Miami as she opened the box in front of the camera.
Daniela explained that, although she does not consider herself a watch enthusiast—she has one that she has barely worn for many years—the Serpenti Tubogas captivated her for a very particular reason.
"I feel this one is more like a piece of jewelry, and the jeweler confirmed that to me. They told me that this is like a watch, that it is a piece of jewelry. Yes, it's a watch, but it's so beautiful that it looks more like bracelets," he detailed in the video.
The choice of color was not random either. Daniela acknowledged that she initially went to the jewelry store looking for the model with a white dial, but ended up changing her mind based on the seller's recommendation.
"The seller told me that for someone like me, with fair skin and black hair, this one would create much more contrast," she explained, adding that she already had another watch with a white face and preferred to diversify.
The Bvlgari Serpenti Tubogas is one of the most iconic pieces in the women's luxury market. It originated in Rome in the late forties and was popularized in the sixties by figures like Elizabeth Taylor. Its Tubogas technique—interwoven flexible metal tubes—gives it a bracelet appearance that sets it apart from conventional watches, which explains Daniela's perception.
Regarding the price, the basic stainless steel models of the Serpenti Tubogas start at approximately 7,600 euros on the official Bvlgari website, while the models with a black dial in steel or gold range from 8,000 to 18,500 euros according to data from Chrono24. The more exclusive versions with gold and diamonds can exceed 150,000 euros.
It is not the first time that Daniela Reyes draws attention with her luxury purchases. In April 2025, she sparked controversy by acquiring a Hermès Birkin bag, and even published the purchase receipt to prove its authenticity to skeptics. Previously, in 2022, she had already surprised everyone with luxury bags from YSL, Givenchy, and Chanel during a vacation in Madrid.
The video of the Serpenti Tubogas arrives at a time of high visibility for the influencer. At the end of March, Daniela and entrepreneur Rafa Rodríguez shared a public kiss in Las Vegas, confirming their relationship, and on April 20 she published a message that sparked speculation about her possible participation in Miss Universe Cuba 2026.
"It's too beautiful. How beautiful, this is just too beautiful," was Daniela's conclusion as she showcased the watch on her wrist, making it clear that this first piece from Bvlgari won't be the last.
