The Cuban singer Bebeshito surprised his followers by posting a video from a dealership in Miami, where he is seen purchasing a 2026 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible for his partner's son, a vehicle that costs over $100,000.
In the video, the artist himself explains his intent: "I came to buy this Crovette for the child. I'm going to paint it green to give a surprise."
The dealership salesman explained that this is Bebeshito's fourth purchase at this establishment: "He has bought a Mercedes for his wife, two Cadillac Escalades, which is the car he likes, and now he is indulging his child with this 2026 Corvette Convertible, along with the always VIP experience for all of you—friends, family, and clients."
The 2026 Corvette Convertible has a starting price of approximately $77,000 for its Stingray 1LT version, although the more equipped variants increase considerably: the E-Ray Convertible starts at $115,600 and the Z06 Convertible at $133,220, which aligns with social media comments placing the vehicle above six digits.
The boy who is likely to receive the car is probably Yan Carlos, the eldest son of his partner Rachel Arderi, who turned seven in September 2025.
The purchase is not the artist's first show of generosity towards his family: in February 2025, Bebeshito gifted Rachel Arderi a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon valued at approximately $182,000.
The post sparked a wave of divided reactions among its followers.
While some celebrated the gesture as a demonstration of the artist's success, others questioned the practicality of the purchase. "What do you mean for the child? By the time he can handle it, about 15 years will have passed," wrote one user. Another commented sarcastically, "When the son can drive it, that's already going to be a transportation."
There were also criticisms of the idea of painting it: "The stupidest thing I've heard is that they're going to paint it green. Don't you know that it decreases the car's value?" noted another comment.
Bebeshito, whose real name is Oniel Ernesto Columbié Campos, is one of the leading figures of the Cuban artistic scene in Miami.
