The Cuban influencer Lianet Martí, known as "La Mija," announced this Friday the purchase of a new property in Florida along with her husband Jorge Luis Ruiz, in an emotional video posted on her Instagram account.
"We did it! A new beginning, today I am more certain than ever that every sacrifice brings its reward," wrote the content creator while sharing the news with her followers.
According to comments from followers on the post, the property would be located in the Orlando area, in central Florida.
La Mija publicly thanked the real estate agent @yaserealtor, to whom she attributed the credit for making the transaction possible: “Without you, this wouldn't have been possible, what an incredible job you did.”
The agent herself responded in the comments: "It has been a pleasure for me to accompany you on this adventure of your new home, thank you for the trust and the infinite affection. You deserve that and more; you are an inspiration to everyone."
The announcement comes after one of the most challenging periods the couple has faced. In March 2026, Jorge Luis Ruiz was hospitalized urgently due to a cardiac crisis associated with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, a congenital condition that creates additional electrical pathways in the heart and can lead to serious arrhythmias.
He underwent heart surgery to cauterize the additional electrical pathway; however, days later, he had to return to the hospital, causing another scare among his followers.
La Mija described those days as "the worst 48 hours" of her life.
The acquisition of the new home adds to a series of personal milestones for the couple, known on social media as "Los Mijos". In November 2025, Enzo, their third child, was born, and in January of that same year, La Mija celebrated reaching one million followers on Instagram.
Currently, the influencer has about 1.8 million followers on TikTok, where she shares humorous and family life content alongside Jorge Luis as Cubans in the United States.
The publication of the announcement garnered over 188,000 views and nearly 18,600 likes within a few hours, with hundreds of congratulatory messages from followers and figures in the Cuban digital world.
"Super proud of everything you have accomplished through sacrifices and a lot of discipline!" wrote the user @isabel_elias, capturing the sentiment of the community that has closely followed every stage of the couple's journey.
