Maluma returned to the sauna and ignited social media once again. The Colombian singer posted a new TikTok yesterday from the same wooden setting, this time with the text "I was told to keep making TikToks," clearly responding to the phenomenon sparked by his first video featuring "Dichávate," the Cuban collaboration track that is taking over digital platforms.

The new clip, accompanied by the description "I pay attention," garnered 4.2 million views, 990,500 likes, 14,500 comments, and 137,800 shares in just a few hours, solidifying the artist as one of the leading international ambassadors of the Cuban genre in 2026.

It all started on Tuesday, June 2, when Maluma posted his first TikTok featuring "Dichávate", showing himself shirtless, with damp hair and his tattoos visible, while the song played in the background. The text "Q hp vicio" and the description "Sobelo" directly connected with the lyrics of the song: "it's an addiction that even with another woman won't heal me."

That first video became one of the artist's most viral contents on the platform, with 24.3 million views, 3.9 million likes, 33,500 comments, and 558,900 shares.

Among the comments from her followers, the compliments came pouring in: "You are an addiction," wrote a user named Stephanie; another fan commented, "Oh my God, buddy, I'm shaking"; and a third simply wrote, "So handsome, my God."

Maluma had already succumbed to the Cuban cast with this double video in one week, but this is not the first time the Colombian has given in to the genre. In May 2025, he went viral listening to "El Punto" by Charly & Johayron, El Taiger, and Bebeshito during his vacation on a yacht, with the message: "Thank you, life, for so much. We are here to enjoy life."

"Dichávate," performed by Ya Ice Dilan, Rey Tony, Helabusador, JipMusic Global, and DJ Honda, was released on December 24, 2025, and surpassed 40 million views on YouTube, becoming one of the most viral audios on TikTok since January 2026.

Maluma is not alone in this craze. Vinicius Jr. shared the track on Instagram on May 21; Bad Gyal danced to it during her concert tour in March; and Greeicy and Ryan Castro joined the phenomenon on June 5, with Ryan Castro's video reaching 6.3 million views on TikTok and the caption "It's an addiction."

Cuban reparto is an urban subgenre that emerged in the popular neighborhoods of Havana between 2006 and 2010, combining reggaeton, timba, rumba, and guaguancó, and in 2026, it experiences its greatest peak of international recognition.

On a personal level, Maluma is experiencing a moment of fulfillment: on May 11, he announced that he is expecting his second child with his partner Susana Gómez, with whom he already has a daughter, París, born on March 9, 2024. With two viral videos in one week and millions of views accumulated, "Dichávate" continues to be the dominant audio on social media, and Maluma is its most famous fan at the moment.
