Payaso x Ley released their new song "Cosita" this Friday, now available on all digital platforms, and the Cuban artist announced it with a single phrase on Instagram: “Cosita is out now on all platforms”.
The official video was published on the YouTube channel of Befocus Music, the label that supports their releases, with production by Ernesto Losa and featuring Ale Vellón and Lachi Prod.
In just a few hours, the track garnered over 12,000 views and 702 likes on YouTube, while the artist's Instagram reel had thousands of views and dozens of comments from fans eagerly anticipating this release.
The song maintains the intact formula that made Payaso x Ley a phenomenon: an operatic lyrical intro that leads into pure Cuban vocals with a contagious rhythm and cheeky lyrics.
The lyrics leave no doubt about the tone: “She’s got malice and also her little ways / a knack for getting what she wants / she does it well to attend to her business / she put on some provocative hair to ruin your little thing.”
The topic did not come without warning. Last May, Payaso x Ley posted a clip on Instagram with the message "Cosita, I'm releasing this, I'm listening to you," creating anticipation among his followers for nearly three weeks before the full release.
The premiere comes after the overwhelming success of "Un Tin," his collaboration with Rowell Urban released on April 20, also under Befocus Music and produced by Ernesto Losa.
"Un Tin" became one of the major viral phenomena in Cuban music in 2026, on YouTube in just a few weeks, sparking challenges on TikTok and massive reels.
That success also brought controversy: some of the audience questioned whether the operatic voice was truly his, something that the artist resolved by posting an a cappella video that dispelled any doubts.
Even a Cuban grandmother dancing "Un Tin" went viral, with videos exceeding 150,000 views each.
Now the question being discussed on social media is whether "Cosita" can repeat that journey, or if the formula loses its strength when used a second time.
