Samantha Hernández set social media ablaze again with unexpected statements in the new reality show Destino Tolk, which the audience quickly interpreted as a direct jab at her ex, the Cuban reggaeton artist L Kimii.
The moment was captured in a video posted by the Instagram account @elcanguro_durako with the caption "This is getting out of control, analyze every detail," and in less than two days, it accumulated over 42,000 views.
During the recording of "La Prisión de Destino," Samantha arrived as a guest and at one point in the conversation, she candidly stated, "That saying that goes once you go Black..., no, I'm not going, that's a lie, I don't want any more Black men."
The phrase immediately caused an uproar among those present, but she herself made sure to clarify the tone: "Not because the Black people disappoint, but because I'm done, I'm done."
Destino reminded her that she had several exes with that profile, mentioning Wampi and L Kimii. Samantha responded with humor and avoided details, true to her carefree style. "I've already moved on from those people," Samantha said.
The networks, of course, did the rest. Comments were divided between those who applauded her attitude and those who insisted that the Cuban influencer "doesn't surpass Kimi."
The romance between Samantha and L Kimii was one of the most talked-about in the Cuban entertainment scene in exile during 2025. They confirmed their relationship with a kiss at the Watsco Center in Miami in September of that year, but the breakup came just a month and a half later, when Samantha announced it in her Instagram stories, asking for respect for her privacy.
Since then, neither of them has been able to escape the headlines. In January 2026, during the premiere of the first season of the same reality show, Samantha joked about the fleeting nature of the relationship, saying it "lasted two days." And in April, L Kimii responded in her own way at a concert in Kentucky by declaring, while singing "Instagram": "You're done with me," a phrase that netizens interpreted as an indirect message without a name attached.
While the drama continues, the reggaeton artist is experiencing a moment of professional success: in May, L Kimii fulfilled his dream of buying a Lamborghini and purchased his first house in the United States, which has only fueled the conversation about who outdid whom.
