Ana María Daniel, partner of the Cuban reggaeton artist El Micha, took to Instagram again last Friday to publicly defend the artist with a video in which she denounces the bullying and harassment that, according to her, the singer has endured, and she asserts that in 14 years she has never seen him act against his ideological stance.
In the clip, Ana María states outright that "in 14 years I have never seen Micha or the government of Cuba," making it clear that despite the separation, she is not willing to remain silent in the face of what she considers an unfair attack against the father of her children.
"Let's talk about bullying, the harassment that Micha has experienced, because in the end, they have come down hard on Micha and... no one knows what that man is suffering and how he is doing physically and mentally," he declared in the video, which garnered over 30,500 views in just a few hours.
Ana María also aimed directly at other artists who have released songs attacking the reggaeton artist: "They should all be ashamed. Meanwhile, here is a bunch of guys doing songs," she said, with veiled references to lyrics that mention "a bridge," alluding to disputes within the world of Cuban reggaeton in exile.
In the same video, the Cuban highlighted the role of Alexander, El Chacal, as the only artist who publicly took a stand for El Micha: "Alexander was the only person who publicly defended El Micha. Publicly. No one else did," she stated, expressing a respect she described as very profound.
This is not Ana María's first gesture of defense in 2026. On May 4th, she had already published a video in which she stated: "I will always stand up for him. You have to have both feet firmly planted, because he has made history. No one can take that away from him, no one." On that occasion, she also emphasized: "He is the father of my children. Even though we are no longer together. He is the father of my children and he is my family."
The relationship between the two came to an end in September 2025, after 13 years together and two children, when Ana María posted a farewell message that included the phrase "Good luck in Cuba," referring directly to the artist's return to the island. Now, it seems that the couple has been given a new chance at love.
El Micha had announced his decision to settle back in Cuba permanently, stating that he no longer wanted to keep paying bills in Miami. Ana María's response was decisive: “So your children are not your family?”, questioning the singer's remarks about finding his "real family" on the island.
In May 2026, El Micha broke his silence about his remarkable weight loss, explaining that he was diagnosed with prediabetes and that chronic stress was the trigger for his physical change, thus dispelling rumors of a serious illness circulating on social media.
The new video by Ana María ends with a direct invitation to debate: "Maybe I want to talk," a phrase that her followers interpreted as a sign that there are still things left to say about this story.
