Georgina Rodríguez demonstrated her solidarity with the victims of the earthquakes in Venezuela this week by donating five emergency stretchers to the Hospital Dr. Domingo Luciani in Caracas.

The delivery was documented in an Instagram story posted by the account @tash.vi, which tagged the businesswoman with the message: “5 emergency stretchers being delivered to Dr. Domingo Luciani Hospital” and “Thank you @georginagio for the donation.” Georgina reshared that story on her own profile, highlighting the medical center's gratitude.

The images show workers unloading large wooden crates from a cargo truck at the hospital facilities, representing a direct response to the equipment crisis the center is facing following the earthquakes.

The donation of stretchers was not the only contribution from Georgina. As revealed by journalist Iván García, a close friend of the businesswoman, Georgina also donated 50,000 euros to World Central Kitchen, the humanitarian organization founded by Spanish chef José Andrés, which actively operates in disaster zones.

The gesture of solidarity comes just days after Georgina herself expressed her support on social media. On June 25, she posted a photo of the sky on her Instagram stories with the caption: "Today my heart prays for Venezuela."

The earthquakes of June 24, 2026, in Venezuela were the strongest recorded in the country since 1900: two consecutive tremors with magnitudes of 7.2 and 7.5 struck the region with only 39-40 seconds apart, with epicenters near Morón, in the state of Yaracuy.

The most affected areas were Caracas, La Guaira, and Maiquetía. The official report from the Venezuelan government, updated as of July 1, reports 2,295 fatalities, 11,267 injured, and 12,841 affected.

However, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) issued a Red Alert and estimates a 42% probability that the actual number of fatalities could be between 10,000 and 100,000. The UN reports figures of up to 50,000 missing across the country.

Georgina was not the only public figure to show solidarity with Venezuela. Artists such as Shakira, Ricky Martin, Carlos Baute, and Alejandro Sanz also expressed their support on social media from day one.

NASA experimentally estimated that up to 58,870 buildings could be damaged or destroyed in the affected region, a figure that illustrates the magnitude of the devastation facing Venezuela and makes every contribution of medical equipment, such as that which arrived this week at Domingo Luciani Hospital, especially urgent.
