How each team arrived
Norway achieved the biggest surprise of the tournament by eliminating Brazil 2-1 in the round of 16 on Saturday, July 5, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, with a brace from Erling Haaland in the 79th and 90th minutes. Earlier, in the round of 32, the Norwegians had defeated Ivory Coast 2-1.
