A Cuban violinist stole the spotlight at the concerts of Yandel Sinfónico across Spain, after several videos of her went viral on Instagram and TikTok, showing her unable to contain the rhythm of reggaeton while playing her instrument.
It is about Jennifer Dávila Yanes, identified on social media as @mafalda_san_09, a woman from Havana residing in Madrid who has participated as a violinist in the show of the Puerto Rican reggaeton artist. In the videos circulating on social media, she can be seen sitting at her music stand, playing with total professionalism, but with her waist, shoulders, and head moving to the rhythm of reggaeton classics as if her body were eager to get up and dance at any moment.
The comments quickly turned into a festival of affection and humor. The most popular one, with over 6,200 "likes," captures the general sentiment: "Take the violin away from the girl and let her dance, please." Another comment, with over 3,300 reactions, celebrated the phenomenon with a hashtag that's already circulating as a meme: "I love that symphonic reggaetón." A third comment, with almost 1,800 "likes," humorously noted: "I thought she was going to get up at any moment. She thought so too."
Many users recognized Jennifer's origin even before she confirmed it herself. "Oh, you're Cuban... that explains a lot," wrote one. "Every part of her body screams: I'M CUBANAAAAAAAA," added another. "I already knew it; that flow doesn't come from just anywhere. Cuba in the house always," asserted a third.
Jennifer wasn't the only one who stole the show. Alongside her, another violinist identified as @jesusviolin —noted by several users as Venezuelan— also had viral moments due to his overflowing expressiveness during the performance. Both were described in the comments as "the victory duo."
The format Yandel Sinfónico blends the greatest hits of reggaeton —including "Pa' la pared" and "Rakata"— with live orchestral arrangements. The tour of Puerto Rican artist Llandel Veguilla Malavé visited several Spanish cities in 2026, with stops in Madrid, A Coruña, Barcelona, Marbella, Las Palmas, Murcia, and Valencia.
It is not the first time that a Cuban musician has gone viral in Spain due to that unmistakable energy. The Cuban conductor of Rosalía's concerts also went viral for her "unique vibe." Cuban musical talent, trained in high-level institutions, continues to find stages abroad where they can shine—and, occasionally, where they can hardly stay still.
