Karol G did it again: she surprised everyone with the official song list for her new album, No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto, which will be released this Friday, August 7th. And if the title already promised intensity, the tracklist confirmed that La Bichota is coming in strong.
The album features 14 songs and four collaborations that no one expected to see together in one project: Drake appears in “Ahí,” Bruno Mars in “Still,” Spanish artists Judeline and Rusowsky share credits in “BbY WOW,” and the lead singer of Cigarettes After Sex, Greg Gonzalez, concludes the album with “Después de ti.”
The first two have made the biggest splash on social media: Drake and Bruno Mars on the same album by Karol G is a combination few dared to imagine, and the fans' reaction was swift.
The announcement came just two days before the release, featuring an ethereal blue image that the artist herself posted on Instagram with the handwritten album title. The post garnered over 538,000 likes in just a few hours, indicating that the anticipation is massive.
The album does not come out of nowhere: two of its songs were already known. "MATADORA" was premiered live in Chicago on July 24, during the first night of TropiTour, and "Después de ti" with Greg Gonzalez reached listeners in April, where it reached number one in Latin Pop.
This is the sixth studio album by the Colombian artist and it represents a clear shift from Tropicoqueta, her previous work released in June 2025, which debuted at number three on the Billboard 200. While that album celebrated its Latin roots with festive energy, this new project aims for a more intimate and alternative sound.
In an interview with Elle, Karol G explained it with an honesty that has become her trademark: "It's an album that opens a door to my fans into a more intimate Carolina. I prefer to suffer because I lived too much, because I loved too much, because I had too much fun, than to have not lived those experiences. I'm inviting everyone to be a little more dramatic, a little more intense."
All of this is happening while La Bichota is on a full tour. The TropiTour kicked off on July 24 in Chicago and includes over 60 concerts in stadiums across North America, Latin America, and Europe, with a planned conclusion in July 2027. The tour sold more than 2 million tickets in just four days after its announcement in April, which illustrates the magnitude of the Karol G phenomenon at this time.
No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto comes out this Friday. The drama, intensity, and collaborations of the year are set to unfold.
