Ana de Armas and Venezuelan singer Beto Montenegro have nothing left to hide: the couple was spotted sharing kisses, hugs, and selfies during a vacation on the Spanish island of Formentera, publicly confirming their romance to the world.
According to the images published by the magazine ¡HOLA!, the lovebirds had lunch together at one of the most famous beach bars on the island and, unable to contain themselves, walked hand in hand to the port. From there, a boat took them to a friend's yacht, where, according to the outlet, "they also didn’t hold back on displays of affection."
The Dating Rumors began in mid-July, when they were seen together in various locations around Madrid. The first public sign came when they attended Rubén Blades' concert at the Noches del Botánico Festival, although neither of them made any comments about it. However, sources close to the couple were already claiming that the romance "was a fact and that they were spending quality time together."
The photos of Formentera dispelled any lingering doubts.
Beto Montenegro, 37 years old, is the lead singer and co-founder of Rawayana, a Caracas-based band that fuses reggae, rock, funk, and Caribbean rhythms. The group, which started in 2007, reached the pinnacle of success in 2023 with their album ¿Quién trae las cornetas?, a work that earned them the Grammy for 'Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album' in February 2025, along with two Latin Grammys in 2024. Montenegro was married to Venezuelan singer Romina Palmisano from 2018 to 2021.
On her part, the Cuban actress has a romantic history that has not gone unnoticed. After her marriage to Catalan actor Marc Clotet —which lasted from 2011 to 2013— she had relationships with Ben Affleck and businessman Paul Boukadakis. More recently, she was linked to Manuel Anido Cuesta, stepson of former Cuban president Miguel Díaz-Canel, a romance that sparked significant controversy among Cubans in exile. Before Montenegro, the media had also linked her to Tom Cruise during 2025, although the alleged breakup was never officially confirmed by either party.
The new romance has not been without its controversies. On social media, several Venezuelan users have labeled Montenegro as a "hypocrite" for dating the Cuban actress, whom they accuse of having past ties to the Havana government. It is important to remember that Manuel Anido Cuesta was included in June 2026 in the sanctions list of the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control along with Lis Cuesta and Díaz-Canel.
While the criticism circulates online, Ana and Beto seem oblivious to it all: the latest images from Formentera show them relaxed, happy, and with no interest in hiding what they feel.
