A Cuban who identifies on TikTok as @yeleema melted hearts online by sharing the moment she returned to her parents' home in Cuba, in a video that has garnered over 55,600 views and stirred up a wave of tears among the Cuban community abroad.
The clip shows the young woman from behind, with long black hair and dressed in pink, walking down a path with her baby in her arms, heading towards a house where she calls for her father.
The video emerged in response to a comment from a user who had requested him to upload the complete reunion. Yele complied, and the reactions from those who watched it were immediate.
The comments were filled with crying emojis, confessions, and painful memories. "Oh my God, how I cry with these videos; it's just like when I get home," wrote one user. Another went further: "You made me cry; I dream of that day when my parents can meet their granddaughter."
But not all the comments were joyful. "What a blessing, just thinking that I will never again have that hug from my dear mother, she went to heaven without me being able to say goodbye," said another.
