Velito El Bufón published a sneak peek of his upcoming song on TikTok and Instagram this Wednesday, igniting social media with just one verse: "Sitting on the jetski, with the blonde riding." Those few words were enough to make his followers erupt with excitement, because finally —they say— the Cuban performer dedicated a line to his current girlfriend and not to his ex.
Since Velito and Thalía —mother of their two children— announced their split in February 2026, practically every song the artist released was interpreted by his fans as a dedication to his ex. "Cuidámela," "Te echo de menos," or "La mujer del Género" were pointed out one after another as proof that Thalía was his permanent muse. The jokes on social media came quickly: they started calling him "Shakiro."
The joke lasted for months. But the new development seems to have put a definitive end to it, at least for now.
The "blonde" in the verse is Paula Martínez, the young Spanish cabin crew member with whom Velito officialized his relationship in April and whom he introduced as "my wife" at a concert in Havana in May. The couple even had to dispel breakup rumors in July, and just last week, Paula opened her Instagram profile to the public.
The reaction in the Instagram comments was immediate and strong. One user summed it up with a mix of relief and humor: "It's about time, start mentioning the blonde and give the songs a different dynamic so people stop saying Thalía is the muse of your good songs." The comment received 27 likes. Another added playfully: "First song that mentions the blonde (and only in one verse)."
The 55-second clip features Velito with braids, blue sunglasses, and a black T-shirt, striking a pose in front of a military green SUV with a bottle on the hood. The same aspirational and festive style, but with new lyrics. The teaser also includes lines like, “Too many lyrics, the ones I have. Right next to me, they've lost their talent for a while. All their women tremble when we enter the event.”
The new track still doesn't have a confirmed title or release date, but with the excitement generated by a single verse, fans are already counting down the days.
