The Cuban actress Heydy González announced the purchase of her first house in the United States, an achievement she shared in an emotional post on her Instagram account alongside her partner Eddy Borges and her daughter Galilea.
"Today we took one of the most important steps of our lives in this country: we bought our little house," wrote the influencer.
The images show the couple signing the documents in the real estate agent's office, and then with little Galilea—the three dressed entirely in white—celebrating in front of the property before entering.
In his message, González emphasized that behind the keys lies so much more than bricks and walls: "There are years of work, sacrifices, dreams, conquered fears, good days and some not so good, but above all, there is a family that never stopped believing it could build a beautiful life in this country."
The actress dedicated the home especially to her daughter: "This house represents stability, growth, new memories, new Christmases, birthdays, laughter, hugs… it represents that place our Galy will always be able to call HOME."
González thanked God, his parents, and his partner, with whom he said he has "walked hand in hand, supporting each other, pushing each other, and dreaming together." He concluded his message with a phrase that encapsulates the family's sentiment: "It's not just a house. It's another dream fulfilled. It's a new chapter in our history. And I feel like we are just getting started."
The post garnered over 23,400 likes in just a few hours, with congratulatory messages from friends, followers, and colleagues from the Cuban entertainment world in exile.

The announcement comes just a week after González celebrated her 46th birthday, and signifies a new chapter in the family's settlement process in the country.
In 2024, Heydy and her daughter Galilea obtained permanent residency in the United States, and that same year, her parents and Eddy Borges's mother reunited with them in Miami, completing the family reunification.
Eddy Borges, a singer and dancer originally from Camagüey, permanently settled in the city in March 2022 and has maintained an active music career.
