Karol G and Bruno Mars released the official music video for "Still" on Wednesday, a ballad they recorded together for the Colombian artist's sixth album, and the Hawaiian singer's reaction in the comments on Instagram stole the show almost immediately.
The video surpassed one million views on YouTube in just a few hours and accumulated over 1.5 million views and nearly 80,000 likes on the platform. But what set social media on fire was the comment that Bruno Mars left on Karol G's post: "That doesn't seem like acting to me, Carolina." After more than 63,000 likes and nearly 1,700 responses, the compliment—addressed to her by her real name, Carolina Giraldo Navarro—became the center of attention for fans and media worldwide.
The music video, filmed at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, captures never-before-seen footage from the concert on August 15, when Bruno Mars made a surprise appearance during Karol G's Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour in front of over 50,000 spectators. The first part of the video is shot in black and white—rehearsals, preparations, knowing glances backstage—and color bursts forth as the live performance begins. Pedro Artola and Daniel Ramos directed the project, with both artists serving as creative directors.
"Still" stands out in Karol G's repertoire for being sung entirely in English, which is quite unusual for the artist. The Colombian singer explained that she didn't want this detail to overshadow everything else: "I have always been open to making music in other languages, without pressure, as long as it flows organically and naturally. And well, that song found me. It expressed exactly what I felt and how I felt it; it was literally perfect for what I was experiencing." The production draws influences from 80s synthwave, and the lyrics speak of a love that doesn't fade even when the relationship ends.
The release comes at a time of heightened excitement between the two artists. On Tuesday, Karol G shared a carousel of photos with Bruno Mars—embracing, toasting with champagne, posing next to a cake inscribed with "Welcome Karol G"—with the brief caption "BRuno," which sparked all the romance rumors and garnered over 4.8 million likes. Days earlier, he himself had posted a cryptic message: "When all you want is peace, but you’re falling for a Latina." Neither of them has confirmed or denied anything.
The release of the music video on Instagram surpassed 1.1 million likes, and among the comments, the one from singer Beatriz Luengo stood out: "We need you to get married, and I won’t discuss it with anyone."
«Still» is part of No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto, the album that Karol G released on August 7, 2026, and features collaborations with Drake, Spaniards Judeline and Rusowsky, and Greg Gonzalez from Cigarettes After Sex. Meanwhile, the Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour continues with over 60 concerts scheduled until July 2027, with upcoming stops in Chicago, Washington D.C., and Las Vegas.
