This Thursday, Miami Beach kicks off the 2026-2027 season of its Miami Beach Culture Crawl program, offering free admission to museums, galleries, concerts, and cultural tours. The general schedule runs from 6:00 to 9:00 PM Eastern Time, although some activities may have different hours.
The city will provide free trolleys with its own brand to transport the public between the participating locations. The program will be held on the third Thursday of each month until July 2027.
The event of greatest interest to the Spanish-speaking community is the Art Deco architectural tour entirely in Spanish, organized by the Miami Design Preservation League (MDPL) as a conclusion to Hispanic Heritage Month, which is celebrated from September 15 to October 15 in the United States.
The tour departs at 6:00 p.m. from the Art Deco Welcome Center, located at 1001 Ocean Drive, and lasts approximately 90 minutes to two hours. It takes place rain or shine, and comfortable footwear and appropriate clothing for the weather are recommended.
Participation is free, but prior registration is mandatory through Eventbrite.
Another prominent venue is the Wolfsonian–FIU, located at 1001 Washington Avenue, where the public can explore the new Knight Labs — interactive digital exhibits on the third and fourth floors — and join hourly guided tours of the exhibition "Foot Notes: Shoes, Symbolism, and Society" starting at 6:15 p.m.
The Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach, located at 1933-1945 Meridian Avenue, presents “Jews and the Middle Ages 1000-1500 A.D.,” a multimedia lecture featuring excerpts from the films “Ivanhoe” and “The Merchant of Venice,” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
At SoundScape Park, 500 17th Street, the New World Symphony offers a free WALLCAST® at 7:00 p.m. featuring "An American in Paris" by Gershwin, under the artistic direction of Stéphane Denève, projected on a 7,000 square foot screen and looping until 9:00 p.m. The public is welcome to bring chairs, blankets, or picnics.
In North Beach, the Miami Beach Bandshell, located at 7275 Collins Avenue, is hosting Les Greene & The Swayzees, a six-member band that blends rock, R&B, Motown, and 60s soul. The group was a finalist among the top five in the NPR Tiny Desk Contest 2026. The concert is free with prior registration.
The Lincoln Road Art Walk takes place across participating galleries from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., although some close at 8:00 p.m. Meanwhile, Moonlighter FabLab, located at 1661 Pennsylvania Avenue, is opening the exhibition "A House That Holds the Weight of Small Things" by Noah Gear, featuring refreshments and music from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
The mayor of Miami Beach, Steven Meiner, described the program this way: "Every third Thursday, residents and visitors can hop on a free trolley and enjoy everything from world-class museums to live music under the stars, all at no cost. It's a celebration of the creativity that makes Miami Beach so special."
The complete schedule and the trolley route map are available on the official Culture Crawl site. For the tour in Spanish, registration is managed through Eventbrite.
