The second episode of , the weekly podcast from CiberCuba dedicated to Cubans who have built businesses outside the island, features Erick Remedios, co-founder and Business Director of Let's Prototype, a company specialized in transforming ideas and inventions into prototypes and functional products.

The episode, titled "From Idea to Manufactured Product," was published this Wednesday and can be viewed on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Facebook, and the CiberCuba website.

Remedios, a graduate in Communication from the University of Havana, reflects in the conversation with the host Katia Sánchez on the journey from the company's origins —when, in his own words, "we had nothing"— to transforming it into a benchmark of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Miami.

Among the topics covered in the episode are failure as a part of the process, the relationship with the investor —which Remedios compares to "a courtship"— and the role of Miami in the Cuban diaspora, a city he defines as "the capital of Cuba today."

Before joining Let's Prototype, Remedios spent more than a decade at BusinessInFact, one of the most active business angel networks in Spain, where she served as general director and participated in over 40 early-stage investment operations.

Since March 2020, he has been leading the international expansion of the company in the United States, based in Coral Gables, Florida, an office that opened in May 2024 with an investment of over 1.5 million dollars.

Let's Prototype was founded in 2006 in San Sebastián de los Reyes, Madrid, and supports entrepreneurs throughout the entire process: from the initial idea to industrialization and market launch, with a team of approximately ten engineers and designers who produce around 100 prototypes each year, about 80% of which are electronic, electromechanical, or connected technology.

For its contribution to the innovation ecosystem of South Florida, the mayor of Miami-Dade County, Daniella Levine Cava, awarded the company the Keys to the County in January 2025.

$how me the mon€y premiered on October 5 with weekly episodes lasting between 40 and 60 minutes, hosted by Katia Sánchez, a Cuban communicator and entrepreneur who previously co-founded and hosted El Pitch for three seasons and 40 episodes.

The featured chef Osmel González, co-founder of Emelina, the restaurant in West Palm Beach that received the first Michelin star for Cuban cuisine in May 2026.
