A woman wanted to surprise her husband for his birthday, but the moment ended in a completely unexpected way. Instead of being excited, the man was terrified when he got home, leading to a funny scene that has gone viral on TikTok, where it has accumulated nearly two million views.

The protagonist, identified on the platform as Clau (@clau4312), shared the video of the unexpected surprise along with a phrase that perfectly summarizes what happened: "When you think you're going to surprise your husband for his birthday and end up scaring him."

In the images, the woman is waiting for her husband’s arrival to surprise him for his birthday. However, when he enters the home, his reaction is not exactly what she had in mind: he gets startled and begins to think that something bad has happened at home.

The unexpected reaction of the man turned what was supposed to be a romantic celebration into a humorous moment that has captured the hearts of thousands of users on social media.

The video, published on October 12, has garnered around 1.9 million views, more than 128,700 "likes," 4,900 comments, and 30,200 shares, according to the figures collected in the post.

Surprises between couples often create heartwarming moments on social media, although they don't always go as the protagonists expect. A few months ago, a Cuban woman surprised her husband by gifting him a luxury car, and the man's reaction also went viral.
