The No Kings movement designated this Saturday as its national action day under the slogan "No Kings: Vote Early", aiming to mobilize voters in all 50 states ahead of the general elections on November 3, 2026, two days before the official early voting period begins in Miami-Dade.
The call, which the organizers describe as non-partisan and non-violent, gathered more than 3,000 events across the country according to figures from the movement itself. In Florida, over 80 activities were registered, with at least 11 taking place in the southern part of the state.
In Miami, the nonprofit organization PRISM FL scheduled the event "No Kings: Rock The Vote!" at the Supernatural Haus, located at 777 NE 79th St, from 4:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
The program includes live music from the bands Street Youth and S.O.L, and DJ KillsComfort, group artistic activities, informational tables with student leaders, distribution of sample ballots, and an electoral bingo game designed for attendees to create their voting plan.
"It is about ensuring that every eligible voter has a plan for early voting, knows their options, and is ready to make their voice heard," states the PRISM page about the event. "Because in this country, we the people decide our elections."
The national campaign represents a strategic shift for No Kings, a movement that emerged in February 2025 and until now had focused its energy on public protests against the Trump administration. This time, the priority is practical: verifying voter registration, guiding on voting options, and ensuring that every eligible citizen makes it to the polls.
On its official page, the movement summarizes its philosophy with a straightforward phrase: “In America, we have no kings. Power does not belong to billionaires, strongmen, or politicians who think they are above accountability. Power belongs to the people, but only if we use it.”
In Miami, a second action point was also identified for this day: a poster exhibition at the pedestrian crossing on 147th Street over I-95, scheduled between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
No Kings also launched a commitment campaign for its supporters to mobilize in case of disruptions or attempts at electoral subversion once the activities of November 3 conclude.
"We must ensure that every valid vote is counted, certified, and protected," warns the movement on its official website.
The electoral context in Miami-Dade adds urgency to mobilization. According to the official statement from the Supervisor of Elections, Alina García, early voting in the county will be available from October 19 to November 1 at 28 locations, open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The deadline to request a mail-in ballot is October 22 at 5:00 p.m.
Among the contests on November 3rd are the governorship of Florida, a seat in the federal Senate, and the 27th Congressional District of Miami, where María Elvira Salazar and Eliott Rodríguez are competing for the seat in a technical tie according to recent polls.
