The Cuban reggaeton artists Wampi and L Kimii have made peace and announced that they are preparing a musical collaboration, putting behind them more than a year of strife and hints on social media.

Everything suggests that it was L Kimii who took the first step by sending a private message to Wampi, which he later shared in his Instagram stories, accompanied by the song "Desigual" by the latter.

"Friend, let's stop the nonsense and make music. It's now!!!!!!," wrote the artist, whose real name is Osniel Andrés Cobarrubia Alfonso.

Wampi, whose real name is Dasiel Mustelier Oruña, quickly responded. He shared the conversation between them under the message "FOR CUBAN CULTURE AND MUSIC" and confirmed his willingness to work together: "Serve black, let's go for it."

In the exchange, L Kimii made it clear that, although they didn't necessarily have to restore their friendship, they could pool their talents: "Really, Dasiel, we don't have to be best friends, but it's time to make history and this is our opportunity."

The reggaeton artist also announced that he would start preparing musical material to send to Wampi, which raised the expectations of his followers regarding a possible collaboration between both representatives of the Cuban urban genre.

Tensions between the artists became public in 2025, when their names were linked to the Cuban influencer Samantha Hernández, who had romantic relationships with both at different times.

In August of that year, rumors began to circulate about a relationship between L Kimii and Samantha, which fueled speculation about a rivalry with Wampi.

Around that time, Wampi unveiled the cover of "El Rey de La Habana 7," which many fans interpreted as a subtle message directed at L Kimii and Samantha.

The hints continued on social media. Wampi shared a video with the phrase "I am your past, your present, and your future," while L Kimii posted an image of Samantha with flowers and the message "I finally found out where she lived. Flowers for her."

Months later, in June 2026, Samantha Hernández stated during the reality show Destino Tolk that she had already moved on from "those people," referring to the two reggaeton artists.

Now, Wampi and L Kimii's decision to put their differences aside has generated excitement among their fans, who celebrate the possibility of hearing both artists in the same song.

For now, neither of them has revealed the title or the release date of the musical collaboration they are working on.
