Jorge Junior, leader of the group Los 4 and cousin of the late reggaeton artist El Taiger, sparked controversy again this Friday by posting a message on Facebook criticizing several Cuban artists in the urban genre for the posthumous tribute "The Best of All Time."
The trigger was the release of the collaborative song, which brings together the voices of Lenier, Helabusador, Seidy La Niña, El Yonki, El Micha, Yomil, Chocolate MC, and Rey Tony, produced with artificial intelligence. The video has already surpassed 120,000 views since its publication on October 21.
"How easy it is for them now; they make a song for El Taiger without asking for permission and create a little video with AI. Knowing that this kind of grace doesn't exist with him while he's alive," Jorge Junior wrote in his public post, without directly naming those involved in the tribute.

The musician warned that his patience has limits and that he is willing to resume a confrontation he has previously engaged in: "Soon I'm going after a few because the last time I went out, everything was calm, and none of those I went to look for came out. Yes, I'm referring to Miami, the 4 again."
At the same time, Jorge Junior took the opportunity to distance several colleagues from his criticisms: "Osmany Garcia, Lore, Chacal, Único, Jacobo, Zurdo, Adonis are brothers I haven't seen in years, sending a hug from afar, you are loved," he clarified in the same text.
Jorge Junior closed his post with a challenging message directed at his rivals: "Tell the mortals that the gods are back. I am the repairman."
This is not the first time El Taiger's cousin has been involved in a dispute of this kind. In October 2024, just days after the artist's death, Jorge Junior demanded the removal of El Taiger's image from the music video for "Papita Frita" — by Lenier, Oniel Bebeshito, and Tekashi 6ix9ine — claiming that the family had not been consulted.
Bebeshito responded defending the song as a legitimate homage, while in November of the same year, the mothers and children of El Taiger also had conflicts with Jorge Junior for the same reason.
The pattern is now repeating with the new collective tribute, reinforcing a recurring tension over who has the moral and familial authority to pay homage to the deceased reggaeton artist.
El Taiger, whose real name was José Manuel Carvajal Zaldívar, was shot in Miami on October 3, 2024, and died a week later at Jackson Memorial Hospital at the age of 37. The release of "The Best of All Time" took place just a few weeks after the second anniversary of his passing, commemorated on October 10.
